Meghan and I went down past Olympia for Prairie Appreciation Day, a great day out.
Walked to the farmers’ market, maybe 3½ miles. Meghan met me there.
We’re surviving this Fimbulwinter fairly well so far. I walked to the grocery store yesterday to stock up on supplies; Meghan shoveled the driveway; our new heat pump is a little slower than the furnace to warm the house when it first turns on, but it gets there.
Walked down to Mom’s this afternoon, along the Interurban trail, through Greenwood, and around the base of Green Lake: eight miles. Then, met the rest of the family for quiche and plum cobbler.
Walked down to Mom’s to give her a face mask that Meghan sewed. Got more steps than any day since [checking notes] last August.
Walked from Beacon Hill to Georgetown, for real this time.
