The dude was home for three weeks, and is now back at school. Meghan and I were also on vacation for those same three weeks, and the bambina was off for two. It was pretty great, and also kind of a rough reentry into school/work.
A coworker asked what season of Doctor Who they should start with, and I realized I’ve been training for this moment for my entire life.
Finished reading You Deserve a Tech Union by Ethan Marcotte. I’ve needed to pace myself with this, because I keep getting mad about my job and the industry as a whole. Even though the point of the book is to inspire and mobilize unionizing, I’ve ended up disheartened. (This will pass.)
