Today is my first day of vacation, more than two weeks’ worth.
Finished a years-overdue project at work this week, quite a relief.
Went to the office for the past three days, to discuss the next several years of projects.
I am reminded, after closing my account about a decade ago, how transactional everything about LinkedIn is.
Had a work meeting (!) this afternoon, with a customer who was in town. First time I’ve done anything like this in more than two years, of course.
I’ve been working at my current job for ten years now, significantly longer than my previous record (more than seven at Expedia).
