After evicting the huge spider from the house, I had a half-finger of scotch.

Meghan and I got far enough into the bathroom sink drain to realize we need to call a plumber. Fortunately we know a good one.
Had our new microwave installed, replacing the old one (older than the dude!) which the handle had broken off of.
As I was walking home from the bus stop, power went out across the neighborhood.
Ant update: We’ve continued to see a few scouts. Yesterday, Meghan caulked over some small cracks under the sink and behind some drawers. We’re now waiting to see if this has helped.
