Today’s kitchen victory: hummus!

One day, the kids will realize that Meghan and I know “Baby Got Back”, and then we’ll realize they know it, and then everybody will be aghast.

Back to work after two weeks (!) off.

Funeral today for Meghan’s uncle.

Mom came over for avocado toast. Then we all went to Third Place Books, where we met Meghan’s cousin and nephew.

Tonight’s kitchen victory: Guinness pie.

Finished the last of the timpano yesterday.

Today was so lazy that the thermostat thought we’d left the house, so it let the house start cooling down.

Celebrated Gamesmas at Tessa and Breck’s. Played Magic, Tsuro, and Five-Minute Dungeon.

Finished season 1 of The Mandalorian. Enjoyed.

Lovely Christmas. Gifts were opened, food was successful (Dutch baby, portobello Wellington, timpano), family was over. And to all a good night.

Thermostat died; got a new one. Christmas is saved!
