Went to Mom’s for brunch, with Greg and Jocelyn and the kids.
Walked down to Mom’s this afternoon, along the Interurban trail, through Greenwood, and around the base of Green Lake: eight miles. Then, met the rest of the family for quiche and plum cobbler.
Tonight’s picnic victory: bratwursts in sauerkraut on the grill; baked beans; nectarine/raspberry cobbler with ginger biscuits; peach sorbet with the bambina; coffee ice cream with the dude. Mom and Greg and Jocelyn and the kids came over to help us eat it all.
The kids marched in Portland’s Starlight Parade, so Meghan and I brought our moms down to watch. We all had a good time.
We stayed in the Alberta Arts District, where I’d never been — a super cool neighborhood.
The kids had their last band concert last night; Mom and Billie and Greg and one of his came along.
