Meghan and I went to Place Pigalle for our anniversary lunch.
Went to Mom’s for brunch, with Greg and Jocelyn and the kids.
Tonight’s kitchen victory: quiche with chard from Meghan’s garden and garlic scapes from Amy’s farm. Plus the crust was perhaps the least troublesome I’ve ever made.
This weekend’s kitchen victories: pesto made with basil that Meghan grew in the greenhouse, and strawberry fool.
We all went to Nathan and Miller’s new place for dinner last night, and had a wonderful time.
Walked down to Mom’s this afternoon, along the Interurban trail, through Greenwood, and around the base of Green Lake: eight miles. Then, met the rest of the family for quiche and plum cobbler.
