Christmas was delightful: Mom and Greg and Jocelyn and the kids came over. The kitchen victory was that we’d prepared all food the preceding days, and only had to reheat things.

Made chicken pot pie for a Thanksgiving main course for us and Mom. We’re exchanging side dishes with her and Greg and Jocelyn early this afternoon for our separate meals.

(Seems like just last year that I wished for no huge turkey dinner on that old monkey paw!)
