Walked down the Interurban, along Phinney, through Fremont, around the west and south sides of the lake, and up to Capitol Hill: 21K steps, 11½ miles, about 3½ hours.
On Saturday afternoon, I walked up to Bothell (about 2½ hours and eight miles) and met Greg for a Magic event that evening.
Walked from Roosevelt to Greenwood and then up the Interurban Trail and home: I didn’t keep good track, but it was something like 16K steps, eight miles.
Walked from home to Roosevelt Station via Meridian and Green Lake: approx. 13K steps and 6½ miles.
Finished reading The Old Ways by Robert Macfarlane. This is a rambling look at walking, paths, and sailing, and is also (unexpectedly) a little biography of Edward Thomas. I lost momentum about three quarters of the way through, but managed to recover and finish. Maybe I would have preferred the book to be a little shorter, but on the other hand it resonated with me enough that I bought a copy to have on hand when the library loan ends.
